Over more than 55 years of hard work, Shammout Group of Companies Shammout Group has been striving to build a successful national business model able to compete at the local as well as international markets.

In addition to achieving profits and expanding its economic activity, the Group is aiming to realize a number of socio-economic goals such as taking part in reinforcing the national economy via boosting production and export, improving quality of services in order to pave the way for creating the “service culture”, bridging the gaps still existing in this field, creating more jobs and building qualified cadres in administrative, technical and executive fields.

Our slogan is to build long-term partnership, credibility and mutual respect with customers and suppliers alike, out of our conviction that customer satisfaction is the best means to establish the Group’s reputation and enhance its future activity.

Moreover, one of the most important group principles in day-to-day transactions is transparency based on clearness and honesty, in terms of delivery punctuality and commitment towards customers and suppliers or dealing with public bodies and abiding by the country’s valid commercial and tax regulations. The Group announces in public all details related to its activities relying on a modern and transparent accounting system thus providing the state treasury with significant contribution compared to the average provided by other Syrian companies.

The Group follows a clear policy in regard to incentives whether via bonuses directly paid to those with distinguished performance, or social security to its workers and registering them in the Public Establishment for Social Security and providing them with medical treatment.

Despite its family characteristic in regard to ownership and senior management structure, the Group has been working hard to incorporate up-to-date administrative concepts and technologies, especially IT. The Group is planning to continue those steps by drawing up an organizational chart and job description specifying the tasks and jurisdictions of every individual in conformity with the scientific concepts of business and with the help of consultancy bodies  specialized in restructuring family companies.
